Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can learners pay for courses with M-Pesa?
Yes. We set up M-Pesa payments so learners can pay and enrol in courses, and PayPal for learners paying from abroad.
Where will our data be hosted?
We host on Contabo and AWS, or on a public cloud you prefer. Schools offering early childhood or basic education must process learner data in Kenya or keep a serving copy in a Kenyan data centre, so tell us early and we will plan hosting around that rule.
Do you create content in Kiswahili?
Yes. We build eLearning modules, quizzes and video lessons in English and Kiswahili.
How much does Moodle cost in Kenya?
Moodle itself is free, open-source software. Our hosted plans start from KES 5,000 a month and go up to about KES 30,000 for larger sites. These prices are indicative.
Can you support our school management system as well?
Yes. We also offer a school management system with M-Pesa fee reconciliation and report cards, and a CBC timetabling system.
